Layout of the page is a commercial of special edition dvd they offer for their audience and fans. The information on it also is on the webpage.
The website is designed for people to find out more about the film. The website contains all the information that people would be looking for. This website includes

In the making gallery is made to just briefly show the people that are interested, what is going to be in the movie, few shots of behind the scenes or while filming. This has the same meaning as trailer.
These things are included to show the audience behind scenes basically and what is in the movie.
The website also includes the trailer for people to see. If people are interested in watching the movie, there are as well cinema listings on the website just to make it easier for people to find out where the movie is screened.
Basically it is important to have this on website if you are trying to market your movie, because this is all the information that you find important for the audience to see in order to let them know all about your movie.
Research on marketing.
Once a movie is made, it need to be shown to people, as it is very important to market your movie to get some profit out of it. Here are few ways that a movie can be marketed. This is all done to increase the number of audience.
These tips are made in order to gain some extra audience, as it is one of the most important things that will help movie to succeed more.
1. Your film should be listed IMDB.com this is first step to make. This website contains details of any films that was ever made. This is in order to inform your audience.
2. You have to make a website. This will make it easier for yourself to have everything written on your website. This is done to sell your movie and also give more information to the audience. Blogger can be used as well as WordPress. It is your own choice to make it complicated or easy for yourself and readers.
3. You need to fill your new website with content that could be behind scenes stuff as well as photos. This is useful information on movie that might make people to go and watch it.
4. On the blog you should upload a trailer of your movie. These are some scenes that are important, being cut and put together. Trailer shouldn’t be very long. You need to tag the trailer after name of the movie so people can find it easily. Basically upload your trailer where ever it is possible, so larger amount of people would be able to see it.
5. IndieLOOP is also very useful website for filmmakers as well as film lovers.
6. You should send review copies off to movie sites. This is done by post mostly, but you need to research online on what type of movies are being viewed and loved by what websites. It depends on type of films they are devoted to.
Finaly it is adviced to market your film online as it is extremely helpful to gain some extra audience and interest them into watching your film.

http://www.apple.com/findouthow/movies/imovie08.html#titlecard how to insert title cards.
Pster: I have speken to svetlana Petrovska who is doing art and photography to help us with the poster. The poster should be able to tell the story of our film. This involves our characteristics aa well as wardrobe.
An image would need to show that both caracters are interested in art but as well that Ozzy has other problems to deal with in his life.
Titling as well should show all the information thats relevent and should be known to inform the audiance and make it more specific.

Kidulthood poster analysis
(We chose to analyse this particular poster because it relates to our theme and is similar type of movie we are trying to create.)
the main image is a wide shot of all the characters. They look menacing and serious.Their facial expression as well as body language projects the stereotypical view of teenagers in London.
The background is of a dull and gloomy sky. In the dark sky there is an opening in the clouds where light is shining through. The light is shining above the characters heads and in hindsight of watching this film. i believe this suggest the death of the characters hence the bright light in the sky.
From the poster we can already recognise different character relationships. the girl and boy on the left look look like they are in a relationship as do the central boy and girl.
We see a big teenager holding a bat on the for right. This characters lightning is extremely low. This shows that this character could possibly be the bad guy in the film. I noticed how only two of the characters are standing up. this implies that these are the two main characters.
Furthermore, the review quote is very interesting. "kicks the door of it's hinges" tells the audience that there is an element of action. It is a very clever quote to use because unlike big machine guns and bombs, kicking is a more suitable form of abuse from teenagers.
In conclusion this poster is extremely informative once you start to look deeper into it. You can almost tell the full story.

Did some research
- Watch documentary films. In order to understand the techniques. They can be watched online at sites like FourDocs and the documentary film network. Learn the genres as well as filmmaking styles.
* Documentary films are shot by handheld camera which gives the watcher feeling of it being true.
- Need to become familiar with the equipment.
* Mr Holloway have thought us some techniques as well as how to use lights.
- Need to find subject that I find fascinating and am familiar with. Resources are needed for the film. Need to look at budget we have. Need to be realistic about it.
* Ash chose the subject which is about social realism, so the group is quite familiar with the subject.
- Research, research and research some information to become an expert. Could read books, speak to people with similar experiances to make it more realistic.
* I have watched similar movies, am familiar with the subject. Could research more on it.
- Structure of the film . Need to visualise it, and in our case draw it briefly. The script.
* We will do that once we all meet.
- Wishlist of any people, location planning, equipment planning.
The actors phone nr to get a hold of them. Forms need to be signed by the location owner/s. Equipment need to be booked.
*Here are some photos of location we will shoot the film in.
- Shoot the film.
- Do the editing. Subtitle choice and styling. Computer at media room are available, so it shouldn’t be that impossible. I have also downloaded editing program incase!
The audianceà I personally think that it should be 15+ film, as there are drugs involved in the movie. We wouldņ want little kids to get influenced by this.
* need to have a questionnaire or a video of interviewing people.

analysis on 'Let me in'
1. Film makers use the camera in ways that would let us to understand the film better. A lot of shots were focusing only on one thing in a shot, by fading everything else out. This is done, so the audience can focus on one and main thing at that moment. This was done because there is a lot going on and a lot of action. there was some bleared out shots used, from patients point of view, to show us that it is something serious that has happened to the patient. His vision makes me wonder of what happened.
2.Subjective use of camera was used at most times, specially while having a conversation between the main character and Abbie, bullies at school an so on. Everything else as: Abbie killing was objective because the main character either watched it or wasn't involved in it.
3.Mise en scene was very good, because of interesting way of showing Abbie, and that she is out of this world (different), because of the way she acts and the way she dresses. It is cold winter outside, but the girl is walking with bare feet.
4. At the beginning the film doesn't seem like what it was at all. It is quite confusing. From the beginning there was disequilibrium because of the atmosphere and mis en scene. there was some strong friendship moments, that made me smile, so there was also some equilibrium. Film was very unpredictable.
5.Sound used was usually very tense at some moments, to make the shot more affective. There was usually a special sound, that would let us know, that danger is coming, that someone is going to get killed.
6.Targeted audience for this film would have to be over 15 and no one with heart problems, because this is a thriller. Also I wouldn't advice and old people with health problems to watch it.

Analysis on two opening scenes.
I analysed two opening sequences of two films.
The dividing bell and the butterfly.
French movie, based in France.Picture at the beginning is very unclear. As somebody is blinking their eye. I hear loud breathing. All of this shows me that this is from persons point of view. There are a lot of flowers in the room, from this i get idea of where the location is (hospital) and the main character is the patient. Extreme close up is being used on doctors face while speaking to the main character. He is unable to speak, but we only hear his thoughts so we actually hear him speaking but nobody replying to him.He breaths heavily, so he is in pain. Unclear picture, doctor tells him that he were in coma for almost 3 weeks. He does undertand everything, but he is like locked in his body.
Camera shots are slightly not orientated because it is all from the patients point of view or eye. The person isn't very orientating very well, so that's why camera shots are also very unclear.
Youth without youth
I can hear clock ticking, but cant see anything for few seconds. I see a scalp of a human in medium shot. This gives me idea, that death is going to take a part in the film.I see close up of a clock. It is very old fashioned , which shows me that this clock could have been passed on from someone, but it has "With love Laura" written on it, so it was given to her lover. Upside down picture of woman (extreme close up). I see a lot of notes and letters on a piece of paper. Some of it has been crossed out. Medium shot is used to show the woman in pictures passing the clock directly to camera, which would probably suggest that to the main character. Medium close up of an elderly man sleeping in bed, just woken up from a dream. He has his eyes open, the lightning is very poor, because we can only see half of his face. He just sits down in the bad and wide shot of the room has been used to show the location, which is a bedroom. The lady that he saw in his dream has died, the scalp gave me idea. So now he is all alone and he can't cope without her. He is crying, but this shot is wide shot , but I can only see his back. Can't see his expressions while crying.
Both openings were very wonderful and I enjoyed analysing it.

The script.
Characters Martin and Violet.
It is very stormy outside. You can only hear it, because curtains in Martins bedroom are closed.Wide shot is used to show us the atmosphere.
His phone is calling. close up of phone is used, to concentrate and think of reasons why is it calling and who is trying to reach him. It seems like there is nobody in the room as Martin is just laying there with no signs of life in him. It is very quite. More like dead quite only rain keeps dripping against the window.
Then we hear Martin moaning in pain. his phone keeps calling but he couldn't answer.Medium close up is used to show the pain in Martins face. Physically and mentally.
Violet enters Martins room in hurry and anger.Long shot is used when she enters. She looks around the room and she sees empty tablet bottles right near him. She looks scared to death and extreme close up of her face is used to show her expressions.
Violet: What have you done?
Martin: looks away from her. never replies.
Violet: screams Why?
Martin: I am sorry, I couldn't stand this.
Violet: Oh no! with tears in her eyes.Marin? Martin? She screams his name.
Violet checks Martins pulse. Extreme close up is used. Extreme close up is used to show Violets facial expressions. She is crying. It looks like she will break down in a minute!
Violet looks over her shoulder, facing the door. She puts her brave face on.

City of god
I have watched and analysed the opening sequence of city of God.
Denotation: I saw knife, chicken, party was going on, people cooking food, Chickens being tied up, alcohol, people chasing chicken, that has escaped Two boys talking, guns, shooting and aiming at the chicken, those two boys ends up near the chicken, boys with guns and police. Boys with guns and police are now facing the chicken and one of the boys.
This description probably wouldn't make sense to anyone if they haven't watch this opening sequence, because shots can show and express a lot about what is the meaning of all this!
This is connotation I came up with. I felt that somebody will get killed because of the knife at the beginning. This gave me negative feelings, which is disequilibrium. People are having a party, there is very loud and fun music, which gave me cozy kind of feeling. In fact it kind of made me want to dance! This I would call more of equilibrium. Close up shot is used on chicken, we kind of get the idea of what the chicken is there for in the first place. There are some scenes of people just killing and cutting up the chickens.I didn't really feel very comfortable to watch it. I felt like I wanted to become a vegetarian after watching this. This would be disequilibrium. There is only one chicken that is tied up and is watching the death of its friends or family. Close up is used to show chickens emotions and scare. The chicken tries to escape. Long shot of chicken have been used to show how it unties its leg and gets away.Chicken has now escaped and bunch of boys are chasing it. Wide shot is used to show us more of the place. Fast cutting of shots is used to show us the action. It wasn't very funny, but the music made me laugh very much, so I would call it equilibrium.
Scene cuts to two random boys. long shot was used. Wide shot was used to show us the chicken and these two boys running on to people that were chasing after chicken. To show whatš going on around this boy, camera turned around in 360 degrees in a slow motion. This gives me feeling that this random boy is actually going to be Protagonist of this movie and the boys chasing chicken were just antagonists.
This is very dramatic opening as it kept on changing from very sad to very funny, by help of music and shot angles.

Todays lesson!
Today we have looked at and experienced with many types of camera shots, lightning and different positions of it. 180degrees rule is also very important thing to remember in order to make the shot work. I have learnt that it is not up to characters and script but it is up to camera position to make the shot seem as you want it to seem! It also changes the mood of the shot. this gave me some experience and made me realise that you have to work hard to get everything done well.

What did you find most difficult in planning?
Most difficult for me was to draw camera shots on the paper. And rest of planning i found quite easy!
What was the most successful part of your filming and why?
As I was acting, the most easy scenes to shot were the ones where you couldn't really see my face in, because it is quite difficult to ignore a camera in front of you! What was the effect of the restriction of having no dialogue to tell the story?
Well it made the audience concentrate more on shot sizes and what it tells us about the movie and or characters!
What did you learn from editing the film?
I have learned that it needs quite of time and skills which will probably be practiced over a period of time!
What will you do differently next time?
I will definitely shoot one shot but from many angles, so it would be much easier to edit it after.
This is the link to the video that me and Amira edited!

21/09/2010 homework.
I have watched some great drama over he weekend. I had to analyse a piece of drama, in order to practice my skills.
I am going to analyse "Skins" Season 1 episode 1 introduction of the main character.
Camera shots used:
Extreme close up was used right at the beggining to show the main character.Long shot was used to show the main character laying in bed.Birds eye shot was used to show him getting up from the bad and straching. Medium long shot was used to show him looking at himself in the mirror.
Mise en scene: Scene was shot at typical english home. The main character is wearing underwear, to give us feeling, that he is feeling comfortable of his body also that he is at his home.main ligtening is comming from the window in his room.
Body language: very confident, popular in school.
This is the first minute of this episode, which all about the main character and his bright personality. I will keep analysing this apisode week by week in order to improve my skills on analysing.

Homework for tuesday!
For last few days I have been looking closely at the way and reasons for me to use media!!! During those 4 days I have watched TV, listened to music, went online. This shows us how addicted we are to media and we use it in our everyday life.
The reason people use media is to entertain, educate and inform us of different things that are going on around us!
I have used media affectively and I think that everyone at some point will be needing media to entertain or give them some information.

09/09/10 Second lesson
Today we have watched a drama scene and analysed the way it has been filmed, the way that lighting has been set up in order to bring out the main character from everything that is going on around them. I also have learnt that body language and clothing the character is wearing does introduce us to characters position in this scene! Either if it is the main character or maybe just a reporter, which in this case was less important character.
Important things to look at are:
Important things to look at are:
- Camera position
- Focus
- Location/ set
- Lighting ->key light
- ->back light
- ->fill light
- Body language, eye-line, performance
- Shot size and angle
All of these things are used to analyse a scene easier.
